Edward Rankin is the President and Co-founder of CAS Cyber Security. Along with Jeffrey and Mike Kimel, Eddie founded CAS with the vision of offering a ‘one stop shop’ for all matters cyber security.
Eddie is originally from Toronto, Canada, and attended the United States Naval Academy where he studied Cyber Security. Eddie was taught by a variety of experts including senior officers from 10th Fleet (the US Navy’s cyber division) and senior leadership from the NSA.

Eddie has operational experience in the Middle East aboard a destroyer and aircraft carrier and held various leadership roles inside the military covering both logistics and operations.

Upon leaving the military Eddie started working at Harlo Capital, a Toronto based private equity firm, as an Analyst where he developed his financial literacy. At CAS Eddie oversees the day to day operations of the business and is responsible for executing the business plan.
Eddie speaks conversational Arabic, which he studied at the Naval Academy. Eddie’s hobbies include offshore sailing which has seen him compete in numerous events including the Newport-Bermuda race, the Marblehead to Halifax race, and multiple Lake Ontario 300s. Eddie also enjoys backcountry skiing and collecting wine.
